Being a tween can be really stressful. Stress and challenging emotions show up every day at home and in school. Mindfulness training provides a toolbox to help your tween build more self-awareness and cultivate inner resilience. It demonstrates powerful skills to manage stress in healthy ways and navigate everyday challenges more effectively. More importantly, mindfulness practices help your tween develop healthy habits for a lifetime of wellness and happiness by teaching them to live life more fully with kindness, compassion, and curiosity. Your tween will develop:

  1. Skills to enhance mood, regulate emotions and thoughts.
  2. Strategies to cope with anxiety and stress and boost self-esteem.
  3. Techniques to improve attention and concentration.
  4. Ways to increase feelings of calm, relaxation, and self-acceptance.
  5. Practice cultivating compassion and truly listen to and communicating with others.
