Light from Within (ALFW) is an eight week yoga and wellness exploration of the many aspects of yoga, meditation, and integrative health. Take an exquisite wellness journey to develop and integrate new skills, insights, and tools to guide and shape you throughout your life. Merge yoga and wellness weekly with:
- A one-hour yoga practice (asana) to strengthen the body.
- Exploration of the eight limbs of yoga to center the inner-self.
- Breathing exercises to relax the body and nervous system.
- Meditations (via hand mudras) to relax the mind for greater equanimity.
- Workbook questions, journaling, and other mindfully-related exercises to bridge the mind, body, and spirit triad.
Additional information and support during the series include Farhi’s eight week webinar that you may watch live or at another time. Those topics include gastrointestinal health, chronic stress, thyroid health, and hormone balance. Handouts and other information relating to nutrition and lifestyle are provided. As well, you may have the opportunity to blog on the ALFW blog to integrate the program and enhance your experience.
